THE THORNTONS VISIT THE BOROUGHS

Neither of us have ever visited Queens or Staten Island.  So, we made visiting them a bit of an adventure.

Friday, May 3rd we rode the subway from Greeley Plaza to Astoria, Queens for Greek food.  It was a 20 minute ride with no train changes.  When we got off the train the restaurants were right there.

Great food, good restaurant, and friendly people.

Today, we went to Staten Island.

We rode the ferry to Staten Island and the bus back through Brooklyn to Manhattan.  Again, an adventure.
