FREEDOM TO EXPRESS

We walked this afternoon and our direction was south.  Our path southward was 6th Avenue and we walked down to the West Village.  From there we traveled east to Washington Square Park.  There's always something going on there.

The videos below are all from the park at the same time!

I was struck by the freedom exhibited throughout the park.  Of course, everyone was peaceful and not political, but still... It was a whole lot of people "doing their thing."

First were quiet, peaceful sand-painters.

Hundreds of NYU students were on the grass to gather some sun.

But, then there was the Korean percussion ensemble.  They went on and on.

Then there were the Irish dancers...

We saw an "old white haired man" like me joining in.

A bit of a jazz combo...

Carolyn and I thought this had to be a group lesson.

And a little Karma to cool things down.
